Архимед, пожилой бездомный, надеялся пережить зиму в полузаконченном здании. Его выгнали, и теперь ему необходимо новое убежище. Тюремная камера кажется одним из вариантов. Однако оказаться там не так просто, как кажется. Архимед подходит к этому вопросу с умом и изобретательностью, но безуспешно. Попытки украсть в кафе, сорвать военный парад и устроить скандал в метро не приводят к желаемому результату. Тогда Архимед решает отправиться на юг, к Французской Ривьере.
